Life with a Cell Phone: New Technologies in Everyday Space

This project studied the daily practices of cell phone users. The project’s goal was to answer the question: how does the organization of a person’s daily life change when submersed in a net of new communicative technologies. This research called for innovative methodology, including in-depth interview, leading a “communication journal” and analysis of everyday documents, such as electronic organizers on cell phones.

Project supported by CISR and the European University in Saint Petersburg.
